Home Invasion In Hopewell Leaves One Suffering With Gun Shot Wound

HOPEWELL, Va – Saturday, at approximately 8:40 PM, the Hopewell Police responded to the 2800 block of Gordon St. for a shots fired call. Upon arrival officers located a victim who may suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigation revealed that the victim was at his residence when he heard a knock at this front door. As the victim opened his door, unknown offender(s) shot in the direction of the front door and the victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police are requesting anyone who may have been in the area and may have seen or heard anything to please call the Hopewell Police Department at 541-2222. Any person(s) who may have information on this or any crime occurring in the City of Hopewell may contact the Hopewell/Prince George Crime Solvers at 541-2202.
