One of Central Virginia's most outspoken politicians is under investigation for an alleged relationship with a teenaged girl.
State Delegate Joe Morrissey is under investigation by the Henrico County Commonwealth's Attorney, accused of having a relationship with a teenager.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, police were called to Morrissey's home Friday night and found him with a teenager from Chesterfield County. The girl was taken to her father, who was waiting nearby.
Additional details were not released.
Morrissey has served Henrico's 74th District since 2008. Back in 1999, Morrissey was found guilty of assault after hitting a man and threatening to kill him.
Morrissey's office has not returned calls to 8News.
