LynDee Walker to Appear at Virginia Literary Festival
RICHMOND (WRIC)—Crime reporter Nichelle Clark is back on the trail of a good story in the new novel "Buried Leads."
On Tuesday morning LynDee Walker, a Richmond resident and author of the popular "Headlines in High Heels" mystery series, discussed her newest book with 8News Anchor Morgan Dean.
"Nichelle gets to dip a toe into politics this time, which has kind of been her lifelong career goal; she wanted to be in the White House press core," said Walker, a former newspaper reporter herself. "She gets into a little bit of a sticky story that traces back to a politician, which is fun for her."
Walker is scheduled to discuss "Buried Leads," the sequel to "Front Page Fatality," at a launch party at the Virginia Literary Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The event begins at 6 p.m. and will be held in the lobby and conference rooms of the Library of Virginia, 800 E. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23219. Walker will also be available to sign copies of her novels during the free event.
