RICHMOND (WRIC)—Ladies, if you're seeking a bit of inspiration this fall, consider attending a new women's empowerment conference in Richmond this weekend.
"The theme is Phenomenal Woman Transformation and Empowerment Conference," said Evangelist Sharon Little, who is organizing the event. "We're doing this because we want to reach ladies in the Richmond and surrounding areas where they can come and just hear a word from God, that their lives can be changed forever."
Headlining the conference is Dr. Angela Corprew-Boyd, of Norfolk, who Little calls a "powerful, dynamic, anointed preacher, teacher and author of the book ‘Church Hurt.'"
"[Corprew-Boyd] has a women's ministry, so her passion is for women … she just wants to see women reach their maximum potential in God," Little said.
The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary St., Richmond, VA 23220. Those attending should use the Family Life Center entrance. Call 804-218-3629 to register; lunch is included in the $20 registration fee. Participants may also register the day of the conference between 9:30 and 10 a.m.
