Posted: Updated:

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WRIC)—Hensley Road in Chesterfield is now open; an overnight brush fire closed the 13900 block of the street, off of Beach Road, until just after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters had the fire under control by about 6 a.m. on Nov. 12, but Hensley Road remained closed for about an hour. No structures were damaged and no injuries have been reported.

Fire officials confirm there were no injuries, and no one was displaced from their home as a result of the fire.  Shawn S. Decourcy, 40, of the 13900 block of West Hensley Road has been charged with the disposal of hot ashes too closely to combustible material.
