Morgan co-anchors Good Morning Richmond. He formerly anchored Good Morning Richmond Weekend and reported during the week for 8News at 5, 5:30 and 6.
Morgan is some of our homegrown talent here at WRIC-TV8. He grew up in Chesterfield County and graduated from Manchester High School. After high school, Morgan attended Virginia Tech where he double majored in both English and Communications. He also studied film history and theory as part of his electives. At Virginia Tech he was active in VTTV Channel 33, the student cable channel. Morgan served as general manager and business manager for VTTV. He also co-hosted a movie review show called Reel to Reel, and anchored Virginia Tech News.
Morgan celebrated his 15th anniversary at TV-8; during that time, he's reviewed thousands of movies. He is also a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association. Unsurprisingly, Morgan lists movies as his favorite hobby. He also enjoys sailing, skiing, and spending time with his family. Email Morgan
