Around 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 4, the suspect—a black male wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and white sneakers—demanded money from the bank teller at the Gateway Bank at 5300 Patterson Avenue. He communicated his demand in a note and did not display a weapon.

The suspect is approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall to 6 feet 5 inches tall and 20 to 30 years old. RPD detectives believe he may have also robbed the SunTrust Bank at 3022 W. Broad St. at 3:36 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21.

If you have information on either of these two incidents, please contact Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
