Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club's Penny Challenge in National Competition
RICHMOND (WRIC) - The children at the Salvation Army Boys
and Girls Club of Richmond are getting national attention for its penny drive to
collect 10,000 pennies to feed the homeless at the Salvation Army shelter.
The club entered its penny challenge in the National
Boys and Girls Club of America "Kids Give
Back" Competition and was selected as one of 12 finalists out of
328 entries in the country. They are also the only club on the East Coast that
