Barboursville Meth Lab Investigated

ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—A Barboursville man has been arrested at the conclusion of an investigation into a meth lab by the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force.

On Monday, Dec. 16, authorities concluded their investigation of the lab, located at 4266 Scuffletown Road. Evidence and hazardous materials were collected from the scene with help of the Virginia State Police Drug Enforcement Section.

Toby Joseph Sykes, 40, was arrested and charged with possession of precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, driving while revoked, and two other misdemeanor charges related to vehicle registration.

Other charges are still pending.
