EMPORIA, Va. (WRIC)—Virginia State Police are investigating a bomb threat at Greensville County High School in Emporia. This comes less than a week after a threat was made on the school on Friday the 13th.
According to Assistant Principal Lameka Harrison, the school received a bomb threat Wednesday afternoon for Thursday morning. Harrison says parents were notified of the threat Wednesday night through an instant alert system.
Teachers have been instructed to report to Greensville Elementary School at 1011 Sussex Drive in Emporia on Thursday morning. High school students who ride the bus will be re-routed to Greensville Elementary.
Law enforcement officers and bomb dogs are currently investigating the threat.
