HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—Police are seeking a male suspect who robbed an EVB Bank on Friday afternoon.
Shortly after 5 p.m. on Dec. 27, a black male wearing a black hat, sunglasses, light-colored button-up shirt and black pants demanded money from the teller in a note at the EVB Bank on the 8800 block of West Broad Street. The suspect got away with cash and no one was injured.
The suspect is approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 170 to 185 pounds and was last seen walking on Homeview Drive toward Parham Road.
The Henrico County Police Division is working with the Richmond Police Department to compare similarities between the suspect in this incident and a suspect who has committed other recent bank robberies in the city.
On Friday, 27-year-old Tamar Harvey was arrested for robbing Village Bank and M&T Bank branches earlier this month. Last week, a married couple robbed an EVB Bank in Colonial Heights on Christmas Eve.
If you have any information about this incident, please contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Richmond at 804-780-1000, or Henrico Police at 804-501-5000.
