Posted: Updated:

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is seeking a man suspected of robbing the same truck stop twice.

At 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, officers responded to the Truck Stops of America at 10134 Lewiston Road for a report of two robberies. The first occurred at the service desk, the second happened just moments later at the nearby fuel desk.

During both robberies, the black male suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. No one was injured, but he managed to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 170 to 180 pounds and carried a blue duffel bag. He wore camouflage clothing, dark boots, white-rimmed sunglasses and a camouflage mask during the robberies.

Investigators are working to determine whether these incidents are connected to a similar robbery that occurred on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Anyone with information about any of these incidents is asked to call the Hanover County Sheriff's Office at 804-365-6410 or Crime Stoppers of Metro Richmond at 804-780-1000.
