Teen Arrested in Hanover Co. Break-In

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a residential break-in that occurred Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1 p.m. on Jan. 15, Hanover County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 11400 block of Parsons Chapel Road for a report of a break-in. No one was injured during the incident, but an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

Based on witness accounts and evidence at the scene, investigators were quickly able to locate and arrest the juvenile suspect. The majority of the cash was recovered.

The youth was charged with breaking and entering, petit larceny and a narcotics-related offense. He is being held in a juvenile detention center.
