HENRICO, Va. (AP) - A skunk found in Henrico County has tested positive for rabies.

Henrico County Police Lt. Linda N. Toney said Tuesday that two dogs exposed to the skunk will be quarantined.

The skunk was found dead in a homeowner's backyard last week near a dog pen.

Toney says no people or other animals were reported exposed to the skunk.

Henrico Police Animal Protection advises pet owners to keep rabies vaccinations current.
