Posted: Updated:

CHESTERFIELD (WRIC) - On October 14, 2013, Oisin Quinn, the Lord Mayor of Dublin, formally invited the Clover Hill High School Marching Cavaliers to participate in this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland.

The Marching Cavaliers are honored to march once again in the heart of Ireland's capital city. The musicians look forward to representing their school, Chesterfield County, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the United States of America performing a patriotic medley of  This Is My Country, Stars and Stripes Forever and You're A Grand Old Flag.

While in Ireland, band members will visit Blarney and Bunratty Castles, tour Kilkenny and Galway, see the Cliffs of Moher and explore Dublin's St. Patrick's Cathedral and Trinity College. On March 16, 2014, the Marching Cavaliers will also compete in Limerick's International Marching Band Competition.

The Clover Hill High School Band has been directed and taught by Mr. Steven P. Conley for the past twenty-seven years.
