CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—The Chesterfield County Police Department is seeking two men who robbed a bank on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 29, each suspect approached a different teller at the Argent Credit Union bank at 5403 Jefferson Davis Highway and demanded money. The two received an undisclosed amount of cash and attempted to escape the parking lot in a car. However, the suspects ultimately fled on foot in the direction of Jefferson Davis Highway and Cogbill Road, after icy conditions rendered them unable to get the vehicle out of the lot.
The first suspect is a thin male who is about 6 feet tall. He wore a black polyester mask that had no eye or mouth openings, a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, sagging dark-colored pants and light blue boxer shorts.
The second suspect is a light-skinned black male with an average build who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans, a black beanie and a cloth covering his face.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Chesterfield Police at 804-748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660.
