Multiple citizens reported that they were approached by a female suspect while conducting transactions at various ATMs throughout the county in December 2013. The suspect claimed she needed to cash a check, but didn't have her debit card with her. Several victims deposited her checks into their own accounts and withdrew the same amount in cash to give to the suspect, who then gave some money back to them for their assistance.
All checks provided by the suspects were from closed accounts.
The suspect is a black woman in her twenties. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 to 145 pounds. She was seen driving a dark-colored Dodge Charger. In the surveillance photo at right, she is wearing eyeglasses and medical scrubs.
