UPDATE: As of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, power has been restored to most customers who expereinced outages earlier in the morning. Dominion is reporting just 146 outages.
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—More than 2,300 Dominion Virginia Power customers in Henrico County's East End are without electricity, due to downed wires on Nine Mile Road.
As of 6:30 a.m. Monday, Dominion reported that 2,304 customers in the Highland Springs area were still without power.
Dominion is stressing that Wednesday morning's outages are not weather related, and crews are working to restore power by about 7 a.m.
