ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC)—On Wednesday, Virginia State Police issued an A.M.B.E.R. Alert for a 5-year-old girl, who was thought to have been abducted in Orange on Tuesday afternoon.

The child, Amiyah Monet Dallas, was last seen at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 15239 Mountain Track Road in Orange, in the care of her aunt, Olivia Nicole Dallas. Police believed the child was in "imminent danger"and issued the alert.

Virginia State Police canceled the A.M.B.E.R. Alert at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, just 27 minutes after it was issued.

A VSP trooper saw Dallas' vehicle, a burgundy 2001 Mercedes C240, in Accomack County. Amiyah Dallas was safely recovered and has since been reunited with her family. Olivia Dallas, 22, was taken into custody without incident.

Dallas is being held at the Accomack County Jail on one felony count of abduction and one count of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

ABC 8 News' affiliate in Norfolk, WVEC, says Dallas will be transferred back to Orange County to face her charges within the next few days.
