Juvenile Found Safe And Unharmed After 5 Hour Search

HENRICO (WRIC) -  (From Henrico Police Dept.) At approximately 2:00 PM, Sunday, 13 year old Nicholas Jermaine Smith was found safe at the home of a family member.  Nicholas was located at a residence off of Hungary Springs Road.  He sustained no injuries.  Officers are still gathering information as to his whereabouts prior to this afternoon, to include how he arrived at the residence. At this time, there is no evidence the juvenile was ever in danger.
 
The juvenile was reported missing around 8:30 AM from a residence in the 1700 block of Shewalt Drive.  Members of Henrico Police, Henrico Fire, Piedmont Search and Rescue, Hanover Sheriff's Office, and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management assisted with looking for the juvenile. Canine Officers and their partners from the Richmond Police Department and the Louisa County Sheriff's Office were also on scene waiting to assist.
