RICHMOND (WRIC)—A Richmond Police detective is being credited for having a good eye after he solved a theft at a local clothing store.
Surveillance video obtained exclusively by ABC 8News shows four teenagers breaking windows at "The Source" store late on a Saturday night in February.The teens entered the store and stole jackets and jeans, among other items.
A few days later, Detective Harry Brown was driving in a Richmond neighborhood when he spotted a teenage boy wearing a Nike jacket and a New York Giants hat—both items that were missing from the store.
