Man in Hummer H3 Attempts Bank Robbery from Drive-Thru

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) - Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank in the drive-thru lane.

On Tuesday, shortly after 2:30 p.m., a male suspect, driving a white Hummer H3 SUV, pulled into the drive-thru lanes of the Wells Fargo Bank in the 2400 block of Staples Mill Road.

While seated in the vehicle, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money while brandishing a handgun.  The suspect drove off without obtaining any money.  No injuries were reported.   

The suspect is described as a black male, 40-50 years old.
