RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - After reportedly setting a woman on fire inside a Richmond home, a local man is now facing malicious wounding charges.

Shortly before 4:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, Richmond Police were called to a residence in the 1600 block of Altamont Avenue.

Sean R. Harrington, 35, allegedly set a woman on fire during a domestic assault. The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Harrington was arrested at the scene and charged with malicious wounding.
