Man Pleads Guilty to Fatally Shooting Horse

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) - A 20-year-old man has pleaded guilty to shooting and killing a horse on a Chesterfield County farm last June.

Steven A. Dunn, currently of Greensboro, N.C., was charged with maiming/killing livestock and four counts of grand larceny.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, Chesterfield County Police responded to the 11900 block of Winterpock Road for a report of a horse that had been fatally shot.

Dunn will be sentenced July 31.
