Bomb Threats Prompt Evacuation at 2 Richmond Middle Schools

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -

T.C. Boushall and Thompson Middle Schools were evacuated Tuesday morning, due to bomb threats. According to Cletisha Lovelace, a public relations and marketing specialist for Richmond Public Schools, said the threats came in as direct calls to both schools.

Richmond Police sent K-9 units to the schools and found no evidence of bombs. While the schools were on lockdown, Boushall students were seated on the buses, while Thompson students were taken to Huguenot High School.

Boushall Middle School is located at 3400 Hopkins Road, Richmond, Va. 232234. Thompson Middle School is located at 7824 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, Va. 23225.
