Suspicious Package at Greyhound Station Not a Threat

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - The Richmond Police Department investigated a suspicious package found at the city’s Greyhound bus station Wednesday afternoon.

The terminal is located at 2901 N. Boulevard, across from the Diamond baseball stadium off of I-95. ABC 8News Reporter Tim Wronka was at the scene, where there was a heavy police presence. The Boulevard was shut down in both directions while police investigated the call for a "box with wheels" at the terminal. Police determined the package was empty and not a threat; the scene was cleared around 2:30 p.m.
