Seasoned industry executive with significant accomplishments in driving client success
LOS ANGELES, May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Zynx Health™, the market leader in providing evidence- and experience-based clinical improvement solutions, today announced that it has named Guillermo Ramas as executive vice president. The announcement was made by Gregory Dorn, MD, MPH, who oversees Hearst Health as executive vice president of Hearst Business Media, and who also serves as president of Zynx Health.
Ramas will be based out of Zynx headquarters in Los Angeles and will lead the commercial group of the company, overseeing sales, business development, client services, and clinical leadership. He will serve alongside Bertina Yen, MD, MPH, who will continue in her role as executive vice president of the product group, overseeing product management, marketing, technology, and content.

Ramas joins Zynx from Novation, where he was vice president of sales and global business development, responsible for customer service and new business development for all commercial analytics, data, and business intelligence solutions serving over 1,800 hospitals.
Previously, Ramas worked for VHA (Novation's parent company), where he was instrumental in the development and design of price benchmarking solutions and analytics applications leading to the development of Novation's Source-to-Settle software suite for healthcare providers. Earlier in his career, Ramas held positions at CSC Consulting, EYT (formerly Ernst & Young Technologies) and Shared Medical Systems, now Siemens Healthcare. Ramas has over 18 years of healthcare IT experience, and earned a BS in economic sciences and business studies from the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain, and a degree from the Senior Executive Program at IESE Business School.
