Medical Examiner Releases Causes of Death in Hot Air Balloon Accident

DOSWELL, Va. (WRIC) - The State Medical Examiner's office has released the causes of death following Friday's hot air balloon accident.

Natalie Lewis died from "acute thermal injury," Ginny Doyle died from "blunt force trauma to the neck and torso" and the pilot Daniel Kirk died from "blunt force trauma to the head, torso and extremities."

All three deaths were ruled accidental.
