Mostly sunny skies will be over the region today and it will be pleasant with highs in the lower 80s. Our skies will be mainly clear tonight but it will be a little more muggy with lows near 60. RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - Mostly sunny skies will be over the region today and it will be pleasant with highs in the lower 80s. Our skies will be mainly clear tonight but it will be a little more muggy with lows near 60.

Tuesday will be hot and humid with highs near 90. There is a chance of some afternoon thunderstorms during Tuesday from 3p to 7pm. Wednesday will be another hot and humid day with highs in the lower 90s. A few isolated thunderstorms are possible during the late afternoon and evening.

A weak weather system will approach the region on Thursday. Before it gets to us we will have partly sunny skies and it will be hot and humid once again. That front will bring us a chance of late day thunderstorms. Partly sunny skies will be over the region on Friday and it will be very warm and humid with a chance of late day thunderstorms. Looking ahead to the weekend; partly sunny to mostly sunny skies will be around for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the middle 80s.
