CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -

On Saturday, a group of students from Clover Hill Elementary School in Midlothian proved that you’re never too young to make a difference and help a friend in need.

The CHES youngsters spent the day engaging in a popular summertime tradition: operating a roadside lemonade stand. But instead of raking in a few extra bucks to supplement their allowances, they managed to raise a whopping $450—all for their friend who is battling leukemia.

In addition to lemonade, the entrepreneurially-inclined kids sold snow cones over the Memorial Day weekend.
