Temps Soar to 100 Degrees Wednesday; Afternoon Storms Possible

Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week; temperatures are slated to reach 100 degrees, while the heat index will make it feel more like 105.

As the heat and humidity build today there is a chance of a few isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, but most will miss out on these storms. It will be partly cloudy and muggy tonight with lows in the upper 70s.

Thursday will be another very hot day with highs in the upper 90s under partly sunny skies. Again the temperatures combined with the humidity will make it feel like 105°. There is another chance of afternoon thunderstorms for Thursday. Friday will still be hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s under partly sunny skies. There is a chance for a few afternoon and evening thunderstorms.

Saturday and Sunday will continue to be hot and humid with partly sunny skies and a chance of afternoon thunderstorms.
