Monday will be a mostly sunny day across Central Virginia, with comfortable levels of humidity and highs in the middle to upper 80s.
Mainly clear skied will be over the region Monday evening with lows in the middle 60s. The heat and humidity will begin to push back into the region on Tuesday. We will see partly sunny skies with highs near 90. There is a chance for a few isolated thunderstoms late in the day.
Wednesday and Thursday will be the hottest day of the week with highs ranging from 90 to 95 degrees under partly sunny skies. We'll see a chance of some scattered afternoon thunderstorms for both days.
Looking ahead to Friday and the upcoming weekend, we won't see much change and partly sunny skies will remain. It will continue to be hot and humid with highs around 90. There will still be the risk of a few afternoon thunderstorms.
