HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -
After a west Broad Street store clerk was robbed a gunpoint Monday evening, three suspects were arrested. Thanks to assistance from the community, a fourth suspect who had been at large was arrested Wednesday morning.
Police report that on July 7 at about 11:28 p.m., a man entered the Shell Station in the 8900 block of west Broad Street and demanded money from the male clerk who was working. The suspect carried a handgun, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled in a vehicle occupied by a group of people.
There were no injuries in this incident.
A short time later, officers saw the vehicle as it drove onto West End Drive and stopped. Two people got out of the vehicle and ran. Officers took a male suspect and stayed in the vehicle into custody, and arrested another suspect following a search of the area.
A female suspect was apprehended at the Shell Station.
Among those arrested and charged with robbery, use of a firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery are:
•James Nolan, 23-years-old, of Richmond, VA
•Charles Nolan, 20 years old, of Richmond, VA
•Ariel Green, 25 years old, Richmond, VA
One suspect, Shawn Thibou, a 19-year-old black male, remained on the run through Wednesday. Henrico police took him into custody the morning of July 9, crediting "assistance from the community" with his capture.
