In a statement released Thursday, the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office has ruled the June 23 shooting death of Dominique S. Mangram a justifiable homicide.
Richmond Police detectives were called to the scene in the 5700 block of Hull Street around 2:42 p.m. on June 23; when they arrived, they found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both men were transported to the hospital for treatment. Dominique S. Mangram of Richmond, 26, later succumbed to his wounds.
The other victim, a 21-year-old male, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
"After a careful review of the circumstances surrounding the shooting death last month of Dominique S. Mangram, the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office has ruled it a justifiable homicide," a release from Richmond Police Department read.
