This tractor trailer crashed into an embankment and flipped onto its side, snarling traffic on I-95 south near Chamberlayne Ave. Tuesday morning.

A tractor trailer hauling a full load of butter struck an embankment and flipped onto its side early Tuesday morning, snarling traffic on Interstate 95 south near Chamberlayne Avenue.
At about 7:35 a.m., Virginia State Police responded to the scene of the single-vehicle crash. The truck was traveling south when it suddenly swerved into the left lane and then back right. It then struck a road sign and several trees before coming to rest on its side in the right lane of the highway.
Both the tractor trailer's driver and passenger were taken to MCV Hospital; there is no word at this time on the extent of their injuries.
Police note that no fuel was spilled in the crash, only engine oil and fluids.
The left and center lanes of Interstate 95 are now open, but the right lane and shoulder will remain closed for clean up foraboutu two more hours.
