HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -
A group of Varina High School students facing felony vandalism charges and trespassing charges for a senior prank last May were spared by the court.
The felony vandalism charges were dropped to misdemeanor destruction charges during a court hearing Thursday. The trespassing charges were Nolle prossed, meaning the charges were set aside, but could still be brought back at any time.
The students were given a differed disposition, which means if they practice good behavior, the charges could be later dropped.
