We will wake up to mainly clear skies early this morning. The relatively low humidity we've experienced has allowed temperatures to dip down into the mid 50's to mid 60's this morning, which will make for a very comfortable start to your Thursday. Today will start sunny and a few clouds will linger along this afternoon. Humidity will be low with high temperatures in the middle 80's. Winds are West turning SW at 5-15 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and dry, with low temps dropping again into the low 50's to near 60 degrees.
Friday will be sunny again, with highs in the mid 80's. Central Virginia will be dry and mostly sunny for the start of the weekend, but SE Virginia from roughly Wakefield to Williamsburg and points southeast could have the chance to see few showers roll through Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 80's.
Sunday looks mostly dry with small chances for pockets of rain. Cloudy forecast Sunday but mostly dry, with small chances of rain. For now, we'll go with a more optimistic dry, yet mostly cloudy forecast Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 80's to low 90's.
Monday and Tuesday feature cloudy skies and scattered rain and thunderstorms as a system pushes through and we return to a bit more typical August weather with the heat, humidity, and storm chances back. Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the low 90's.
