We continue to a very active, but also mild weather pattern as we head into the end of February. Tonight the clouds will thicken over the area and showers will move in as a weak weather system passes through. It will stay mild with overnight lows only falling back into the mid to upper 40s. Thursday will be partly cloudy and very warm as highs will reach into the lower 70s in many interior locations. Thursday night is going to be warm over us with clouds returning and breezy southwesterly winds that will keep our overnight lows in the mid 50s. Friday a cold front is going to roll through the area. It will bring a chance of showers, but they may not become widespread until we get into the afternoon hours, which would place most of them to the east of us. Highs will climb into the upper 60s and lower 70s but start to drop in the afternoon hours. Saturday will be partly cloudy and cooler with highs back in the lower to mid 50s. Sunday will be sunny and quiet as highs reach into the 50s. We will warm up for Monday and Tuesday before a weather system arrives for Wednesday (Sadie Hawkins Day!)whit rain and temperatures in the 50s.
