
Expect a gradual clearing trend in the area tonight as a fair weather system finally builds in from the north. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 50s and the lower 60s. Thursday will be sunny with the exception of a few afternoon fair weather clouds. Highs will be anywhere from 78-84. Fair skies will be on tap for tomorrow night here in Central Virginia with a cool overnight low falling down in the mid to upper 50s. Summer will have "officially" arrived when you wake up on Friday and it is shaping up to be a great summer day. Sunshine and highs in the middle 80s will be on tap for us. For the first weekend of summer, the skies will be mostly sunny, but there could be an isolated thunderstorm that pops up on Sunday. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 80s and the humidity will start to build up. Monday and Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance for a storm as highs reach into the lower 90s. A bigger risk of thunderstorms will arrive on Thursday of next week.
