A cold front will sag through the area tonight pushing the showers and thunderstorms to the coastline after midnight. Overnight we will see the lows falling back down into the lower to middle 60s. I expect to see some clouds lingering on Wednesday morning, but we will see some sunshine in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s. Fair skies area on tap for the area Wednesday night as drier air begins to move into the region. That should allow for overnight lows to fall into the upper 50s and the lower 60s. Thursday will be mostly sunny and comfortable with highs in the mid 80s. Right now the first few days of summer (which arrives on Friday) will be sunny or mostly sunny in the area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s and lows in the 60s. The humidity will start to build over the area by the second half of the weekend and that could give the chance for an isolated thunderstorm by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
