Delaney Murray joined the WRIC 8News team as a digital producer in June 2022 after completing her Master’s Degree in Journalism at Ohio University.
She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from OU and a certificate in Women, Gender and Sexuality studies.
She previously worked as a reporter for two local publications in Athens, Ohio, The Athens Messenger and The New Political. She also wrote for Midstory, a media nonprofit in Toledo, Ohio, focused on bringing quality reporting to the Midwest.
In her free time, Delaney enjoys reading, writing short stories, playing Stardew Valley and hanging out with her cats, Stevie and Dolly.
