Gwyndolyn Miles joined the WRIC 8News team in August of 2022, just after graduating from Virginia Tech a year early. She earned a degree in multimedia journalism and a minor in political science.
While in college, she was a staff writer for the Virginia Tech student paper, the Collegiate Times, as well as a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
She is from Northern Virginia, but was born in California and moved often growing up. Throughout college she planned on moving to Richmond after graduation, and now knows she made the right choice. Her favorite thing to do in the city is visit local markets.
In her free time, Gwyn likes to read, paint, and hang out with her cat, Venus.
