Jakob Cordes joined 8News in July 2021 as a Digital Producer. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary where he earned a bachelor’s degree in government and a minor in creative writing.
Before joining 8News, he wrote for the Diplomatic Courier, Virginia Public Media and the Virginia Dogwood.
In his free time, Jakob edits The Public Library of Alexandria and enjoys Richmond’s beautiful riverside parks.
