Laura Perrot joined the 8News team as a reporter in July 2019.
Before Richmond, Laura was a reporter at CBS19 News in Charlottesville.
Laura was born and raised in the Annapolis area of Maryland. She is a proud graduate of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park (go Terps!).
During her time at UMD, Laura reported and anchored for the award-winning student-run newscast, Capital News Service. She was also a member of the National Press Photographers Association and Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. She got her start in news interning at 47 ABC in Salisbury, MD.
