Rachel Keller joined WRIC as a Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter in May 2020.
Before joining the team in Richmond, Rachel worked as an anchor and reporter for two years at the ABC and NBC affiliate KBMT/KJAC in Beaumont, Texas.
She covered breaking national news stories like Tropical Storm Imelda and the TPC Group Plant explosion in Port Neches, Texas.
Rachel is happy to be back on the east coast where she is originally from – she grew up in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, a small town right outside of Philadelphia.
She is a proud graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and roots for the Owls. She graduated with a B.A in Journalism in 2017.
During her time at Temple, she interned for Good Day Philadelphia and The Q at Fox29.
Rachel also interned for the Wake up with WURD show on AM WURD where she had her own radio segment.
During her spare time, Rachel is almost always on a plane. She loves to travel and experience as many places as possible. She is excited to explore RVA.
If you see her around town, don’t be afraid to say hello! If you have a story that you would like her to tell, send her an email at email@example.com.
