Rolynn Wilson joined the 8News team as a reporter in June 2022.
Rolynn was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast News.
Prior to starting her career as a reporter, she worked as at WFTS-ABC in Tampa Florida as a production assistant. She also interned for the TODAY Show in New York and WTVT-FOX in Tampa.
She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, and the National Association of Black Journalists.
