Synclaire Cruel

Synclaire Cruel joined WRIC as a producer September 2018.

Synclaire comes here after producing the 4:30 AM newscast at Fox 4 in Fort Myers, Florida as a Scripps Journalism Program participant.

Before her time in Florida, Synclaire worked as a news assistant at PBS NewsHour in Arlington, Va.

Synclaire grew up in Columbia, Maryland and graduated from Morgan State University in December 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.

While there, she was one of two students selected for journalism trips in Havana, Cuba and Athens, Greece. 

During that time, she also interned with C-SPAN and the Harbor Foundation.

In her spare time, Synclaire enjoys reading, working out, dancing and spending time with her friends and family.
