Tyler Hall

Tyler Hall joined WRIC in November 2022. He comes to WRIC from Central Louisiana, where he worked at KALB for more than five years forecasting the weather.

Covering lots of tropical and severe weather while in Louisiana, along with winter storms, cold snaps and dangerous heat, Tyler has reported on a wide variety of weather.

He graduated from Lyndon State College, now Northern Vermont University at Lyndon, with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Journalism Arts, with an added emphasis in Atmospheric Sciences in 2017. Additionally, he completed the Weather Forecasting Certification Program online through Penn State World Campus in 2019. Currently, he is pursuing his National Weather Association Seal of Approval Certification and plans to complete that in 2023.

Since he was a child, Tyler has always been fascinated and passionate about the weather and he always wanted to be on television talking about it to the audience!

When not at work, Tyler likes to hang out with his cat, Pumpkin, along with being outdoors going out on walks, hikes and playing golf!

Tyler is from New Hampshire and is very excited to be back on the East Coast, closer to his family and friends.
