RETURN TO SCHOOL PLAN
Chesterfield County families were presented with the option for students to either attend school in-person with mitigation strategies in place or virtually for the 2021-22 school year. Following a statewide Public Health Emergency Order, all students and staff will be required to wear masks inside the school buildings. The school year started early for two-year round schools on July 19, other start dates are staggered through August. Children in grades 1-5, 6 and 9 will start school Aug. 23, other middle and high school students will start Aug. 24 and kindergarten students will have their first day on Aug. 27.
