RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — This weekend you can check out the newly renovated East End Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club. The 15 month renovation has created plenty of new space for the community to grow into. There are $8 million in upgrades, including an additional 8,000 square feet in programming space. Some of the biggest changes people will notice are the renovated, year-round aquatics center, a new fitness studio, STEM studios, updated gymnasium and community classrooms. One of the features the kids have been most excited about is the new teen center. The open house and community day is Saturday, April 13th. It runs from 10am-2pm. You can learn more here.
